Hi there car affecianados! (If that is how you spell it!)
What a day it was today! What a day! It was what I would describe as "A Petrolhead's dream"
Now let me explain to you why it was "A Petrolhead's dream". I saw numerous exotic cars whilst I was out in town,. Firtsly I saw a DeLorean DMC-12 roaring past me and droppping off a kid! What a lucky kid! Although the DeLorean has many flaws such as handling issues, weight and a dissapointing V6 it is still an icon and you can't help but think about The Back To The Future films!
After that I saw a Ferrari F430 Spider at the traffic lights with a rich sheikh and presumably one of his harem's sitting next to him! Again although it is not as impressive as the 458 it is still a Ferrari and the car that I think really put Ferrari on the map (even though it already was) in the 21st century!
Last but not least the cherry on top of the cake was another Ferrari! A Ferrari 308 Gt4 Dino roaring past by my dad's car. This is usually referred to as "the cheap mans Ferrari" and I do not understand why alongside cheap prices at the moment (which is probably why it is called that) it is a bargain and at the time of its release it was technologically ahead of its time! It is also rare as if I am not wrong it is the only Ferrari to be styled by Bertone not Pininfarina, which is one of the reasons why many people do not like it, a definite understatement in my opinion!
Thanks,
Bobbak Rabiei
